How it works
Application flow
The form below has two steps — program overview, then your application. Here is what happens from start to finish.
Step 1
Review the program
Read what Mirai Lab offers, who can apply, and weekly time expectations.
- Benefits: mentorship, AI Suite, seminars, and cross-field project opportunities
- Open to 3rd/4th-year undergraduates, graduates, and Master’s students from any faculty
Step 2
Submit your application
Fill in your details, upload a PDF CV, and write your motivation letter.
- Contact info, university, department/field, LinkedIn, and weekly availability
- Background & interests plus a motivation letter (400+ characters)
- Confirm the letter is your own original work
Step 3
We review your application
Mirai Lab staff read every submission. You receive a confirmation email right away.
- Supervisors, consultants, and research assistants are notified with your CV
- Shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview
Step 4
Join the lab
If accepted, you get workspace access and join a supervised team.

Who can apply
3rd- or 4th-year undergraduates, graduates, or Master's students — any department or field. Commit 5–20 hours per week.
